Personalized Cooking Classes and Parties  

Three Course Cooking Class in Deb's Kitchen

Morning and afternoon classes Monday through Sunday, begin anytime between 9 AM-2 PM. 

Depending on the menu selected and the number of people participating, most classes will run about 4 hours in duration .  Class pricing begins at $250.00 for two people.  Additional participants  can be added for an additional $50.00 per person.  The youngest age I teach is  8 years old.  I reserve the right to charge additional amounts for  client requested premium ingredients. 

While it will be a bit more cramped in the kitchen,  I can arrange to take as many as 6 people.

Wine pairings are additional.  Party favors are additional.

Divide the Dishes

These classes are available Monday through Friday  beginning any time  from  as early as 9 AM until  4:30 PM.  You select the menu, I will provide you with your shopping list depending on how many portions you require.  You  provide the necessary ingredients to prepare your meal,  cook the recipes with my instruction, provide coolers and storage to bring home the food cooked that day.  You leave with the recipes and the perfected techniques.  Class length depends on items  and quantities prepared.

Costs to be divided among the client(s):

Instructor Fee of $35.00 per hour for the first two participants, an additional $5.00 per hour per additional person.  Minimum of  two hours.  

Pantry fee  may be applied , for ingredients used out of my pantry.

Cost of ingredients needed to complete the menu is paid by the participants.
Shopping Fee- for my time shopping and transporting food, if not done by the client. ($15.00 per hour)
Transportation fees may be applied, if I do this type of class in your home.

 Cooking Parties in Your Kitchen 

50%  deposit required  to secure date and time and cover initial expenses will be applied to:
Hourly chef fee from time of arrival until departure is $50.00 per hour with a $250.00 minimum.
Set up fee will vary between events., depending on what is being provided.  This fee includes printing costs, laundry costs etcetera.
Cost of  ingredients.
Shopping and Handling Fee of $15.00 per hour if applicable.
Assistant fee of  $20.00 per hour per assistant.  (These people are paid separately and are not Cooking with Class employees)
 Minimum rates  apply for larger groups and weekend evening classes. 
If the event is to be held at a location other than a clients home , all venue fees to be paid by the client.

No Risk Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are available in any denomination and will be applied toward payment on the cost of any class or service.  See class  descriptions above for more details.

Gift Certificates are mailed via USPS.  I will need two checks.  The first check covers the cost of the postage and any special packaging that may be required.  The second  will be considered a deposit, which I will hold until the class or service is booked.  Both checks need to be received by me before I can mail your gift certificate.  Your second check will only be cashed when your class is scheduled.

For all classes:

Deposits are required for any class that requires out of pocket expenses to prepare for a cooking class.  
Your deposit will reserve your class date.
Your deposit will be cashed no earlier than 48 hours before your reserved date of class.
If you need to cancel or rescheule a class,  I kindly ask that you give me as much notice as possible.  Many people  book their class a month or more in advance.
If a class is cancelled  by the client without 48 hours notice,  you risk losing your entire deposit.   If your class is rescheduled, you will be responsible for the amount  of any  perishible ingredients that have been purchased

 I reserve the right to cancel any class , if the deposit has not been received.  Ask Deb for details when arranging your class.   

If a client removes any food off my premises, I am no longer responsible for conditions of that  food.  Clients are  responsible for transporting, storing, reheating or cooking of  class ingredients.    I  am not responsible for under cooking or overcooking, or spoilage of any ingredients off  my premises.  

Client is responsible for following time temperature guidelines to insure safe consumption of the food.  I am not responsible for any reactions to food allergies.
